Former test cricketers says it's time to make drastic changes to the Pakistan team after its shambolic performance in the Champions Trophy.
Pakistan lost all three group matches to be eliminated from the tournament as its batsmen crumbled against West Indies, South Africa and archrival India with the scores of 170, 167 and 165 respectively.
Fast bowling great Wasim Akram told Geo Television on Saturday that "someone has to be brave enough and prepare young cricketers when seniors are not performing."
Akram was surprised to see the Pakistan batsmen struggle on Edgbaston batting-friendly against India on Saturday, falling " like a pack of cards."
Former test bowler Sikander Bakht demanded national selectors to step down and said Pakistan should replace 39-year-old captain Misbah-ul-Haq with a younger player.
